Hacking Fortnite to Motivate Science Students

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Why do kids love Fortnite? Yes, the game is fun to play, but the addiction is driven by an incredible challenge and reward system that keeps players coming back for more. In this session, we will examine what video games can teach us about student motivation in the science classroom, and then we will dive deep into Fortnite and explore how we can hack elements of the game to motivate our own science students.
