In an ongoing effort to engage in interdisciplinary learning, we designed a class project that would sharpen students' abilities to observe the natural world while strengthening technical and creative writing skills. We will be modeling what we have done in the classroom, and discussing how we utilized a community partner, The Leslie Science and Nature Center, to further these processes. We will use food and live animals during the workshop. Monica Lewis and David Clipner are also presenters.
