Climate Education Through Data Analysis

This session will present a lesson where students consider a phenomenon and analyzing data to construct a conclusion. The phenomena here will be global temperature increase. Alternative hypotheses evaluated include variation of solar output, changing Earth orbit and tilt, and increased greenhouse effect. Some data will include ocean sediment fossils and sunspots. A variety of climate education resources will also be shared.
